We believe that power is obtained through strong leadership. Like when you are trying to gain power over anything big or small, you need someone strong to make sure that your goal is achieved and not accept anything less than that.

1. The leader must have great Influence over his followers. Explain why influence is important.

1. 1. The leader will gain popularity through coercion.

      1. Such as Hitler gaining power during the depression because he offered to be a strong leader and get them out of it. He made many good points to influence the people to support his ideas.The people of Germany during this time were very poor and desperate for a way out and Hitler offered a way out.

2. The leader also has to keep Authority over his people. Explain why authority is important.

   1. Force

      1. Stalin gaining power through his mentor, Lenon, dying. Then killing or exiling people running against him such as having Leon Trotsky, another option for the new leader of Russia, killed. Stalin also kept his power of his people by having the KGB or secret police to keep people in check or have them killed. This may not have been the most ethical way of leading but it kept people in check therefore keeping the power.

3. Lastly the leader has to be able to communicate to his people very well. Explain why communication is important.

   1. Passionate

      1. Hitler : Like we said before Hitler was very talented in the way he could communicate his ideas and make others think that they were good. He knew that the people would be desperate and he could manipulate them into getting power. He would make very passionate speeches making the people want him to lead.
